Food, Drink, and Conversation

The library strives to provide a pleasant and productive work environment for both individual and group study.

Food and Drink Policy:
  • You are welcome to bring food and drink into the library.
  • Please dispose of all trash in designated bins in the hallways.
  • Alert library staff to any spills.
Noise Levels & Collaborative Study:
  • Be respectful of other library users when it comes to conversations.
    • For loud, extended, or otherwise active conversations, please utilize a group study room.
  • Please make and take cell phone calls outside of the library.
  • When listening to personal devices, please use headphones.
    • If you need headphones, you can check them out at Circulation. 

Lockers

Student day lockers available on the 7th Floor.

  • Locker keys can be checked out at the Library Service Desk for 24 hours, no renewals.
    • Overdue keys will incur fines at $2.50 per hour.
    • Keys overdue longer than 24 hours are declared lost and a $50 replacement fine will be assessed.
  • Lockers are equipped with outlets for charging electronic devices.
