Study Room Policies

The Law Library has 24 study rooms available for group study.
These rooms are reserved for the exclusive use of current UBalt Law students.
  • Duration: Rooms can be reserved for up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Advance Reservation: Rooms can be reserved up to seven (7) days in advance.
  • Unclaimed Reservations: Reserved rooms unclaimed within 15 minutes are released to open availability.
  • Reservation Cut-off: Rooms must be reserved by 7:00 p.m. the night before.
  • No back-to-back reservations.
  • No recurring reservations.
  • Exclusions: Students may not reserve rooms on the 9th floor, AL1211, or AL1212.

Reserving a Study Room

Rooms can be reserved for groups of two or more.
Single students can reserve for online interviews or career-related meetings.
  • Use the Reservation URL:
    • Note, rooms vary in available seats/size, layout, and features. When viewing available rooms, you can click the blue Info button to read more about that particular room.
  • Check-in: Please check-in when you occupy the room either via the room's QR code or the reservation link.
  • Check-out: Please check-out when you are done with the room either via the room's QR code or the reservation link. This allows other students to also reserve the room.
  • Cancellation: Your reservation will be cancelled if you do not check-in and occupy the study room within 15 minutes of the reservation's start time.
