Computer Labs

Location and Availability

  • Location: There are two computer labs located on the 9th Floor.
  • Operating Hours: The labs are open and accessible when the Angelos Law Center is open. A Bee Card is needed for early or late access to the Angelos Law Center.
  • Access Restrictions: Only current UBalt students, faculty, and staff may use the labs.

Software and Equipment

  • Software: All computers have the full Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Pro, and other software you may need for your assignments.
  • Scanners: Scanners are available in the labs, in the 7th Floor Reading Room, and on Floor 12.
  • Printers: The labs are equipped with printers. These printers are not for public use.
    • To check on your print allotment, learn how to add printers, to find out how to borrow a camera or digital voice recorder, take advantage of hardware and software purchase discounts, and more, visit IT for Students.

Access Requirements

  • Network Computer Account: Users must obtain a network computer account from Room 002 in the Business Center for access to the labs.

 

Office of Technology Support

The Law Library does not provide technology support for the computer labs nor personal devices.

The University of Baltimore Office of Technology Services (OTS) does provides technology support to the UB community. Please visit their website for more information, including contact details and support hours. 

Internet Access

UBalt Community MembersYour network account gives you access to the University’s wifi system, so you can access any of the library’s resources on your laptops and other electronic devices anywhere on campus. For more information, visit the Wireless Network support page.

Public Patrons: Guests may ask for WiFi guest access at the Circulation and Information Desk on the 7th Floor.
