UB Law Library Books
- UB law faculty, students and staff may now request circulating books from our collection that show a location of "Stacks" or "International Law" in our online catalog. Use this form to place your requests or request books directly via our online catalog. Select "UB Law Library Curbside Pickup" as the pick-up location if you're placing your requests through the catalog.
- You will be notified via email when the books you've requested are available for pick-up. Library staff can pull books from the stacks on Thursdays only, so don't expect to receive email notification on any other day.
- Follow these instructions to pick up your items once you receive the email notification.
- Reserve books may not be requested. Library textbooks housed in the reserve room aren't accessible during the Spring 2021 semester. See this blog post for more information.
- Return all borrowed books to the bookdrop just outside the RLB Library entrance that faces West Oliver Street. (The address is 80 West Oliver Street.) It's available 24/7. You will not incur any fines for returning overdue books.
- Please contact our Circulation Desk if you have any questions.
Materials from Other USMAI Libraries
Materials from Libraries Outside USMAI
- Here's where you can review your ILL account for non-USMAI library items that you've borrowed.
- Return items borrowed from libraries outside USMAI to the same bookdrop described above.
- We can process requests for articles not available in any of our research databases as well as book chapters and books. Submit your requests using ILLiad, our interlibrary loan system. Please be advised that fulfilling book requests may take longer than usual as many libraries are still not lending print materials.
- Please contact Bijal Shah if you have any questions.
