  •      The heart of SVA is the student veteran led chapter. These local organizations are the “boots on the ground” that provide peer-to-peer support, which has been linked to academic success and an easier transition to campus for student veterans. Through this national network of affiliates, SVA impacts the lives of thousands of student veterans. The nation’s renewed focus on veteran welfare has ignited change on campuses and in congress.  SVA is committed to capitalizing on this momentum to ensure today’s and tomorrow’s veterans are supported in their transition to education and employment. The Military Veterans of the University of Baltimore is the local chapter.                                                                                                                               .
