Tips and Tricks for Searching the University of Baltimore Law Library Catalog: Home

Need to know how to find that one particular book or other resource? Here are some "Tips and Tricks" that can help you find the materials you need quickly and efficiently!

To begin your search

You can access both CatalogUSMAI and the WorldCat feature from the Library's Homepage. 

 

From off campus, you will be prompted for a login, where you will enter your UB Username and Password.

 

 

 

University of Baltimore School of Law Library Catalogs: CatalogUSMAI(Classic)

This online tool delivers the ability to search and identify resources(periodicals, books, electronic resources) that are owned by individual libraries within USMAI, including the University of Baltimore Law Library as well as Langsdale Library.

University of Baltimore School of Law Library Catalog: World Cat Local

Users can search and browse based on a number of different search queries and limit facets.  There are options for simple keyword search, advanced fields based searches and various different options for browsing.  While it simple to narrow down by library or institution, this is generally used to search across holdings from different library systems.

Basic Seraching EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS)

From the Law Library home page, type the title into the search box.

Tip: If you know exact title, select "Title" from the pull-down menu next to the search bar.
